A couple of weeks ago I got around to digging through CD/DVD archives and came across shots I thought were long gone. The images were part of the RadioShack “Art on the Riverfront” project I worked on for about a year.
Basically, the company was putting together a permanent art collection for their (then) new campus and I somehow made it through the jury process, contributing 12 photographs to the final project. My approach was to use macro photography to bring out details such as texture so the products, like the roll of speaker cable above, could be viewed in a totally different way.
For the camera gear dorks (of which I am one), this was shot with a Hasselblad body, a PhaseOne back and a bunch of extension tubes.⠀
