Music Monday: Max Gomez

After attending the 2019 Red River Folk Festival, my wife came home raving about one of the performers, who also happened to be the festival’s cofounder and producer.

Since she’s very hard to impress musically, I started looking into Taos-born singer/songwriter Max Gomez and was taken down a musical rabbit hole. With a unique writing style and voice, Gomez has put out two albums, 2013’s “Rule the World” and the 2017 EP “Me & Joe”, that really stand out in a folk/Americana genre crowded with many other talented songwriters.
