Music Monday: The 40 Acre Mule

One of my favorite things is seeing a band live and being completely blown away by one of the opening acts. One of my least favorite things is finding out this new discovery has been playing locally for years and I’ve been completely oblivious to their existence.

Such is the case with Dallas’ awesomely bluesy The 40 Acre Mule.

Formed in 2015, the band was one of the opening acts for the Supersuckers’ October 2021 stop at Three Links in Dallas, Texas, delivering an absolutely blistering set.
